Established in 1880, SALON PLAUENER SPITZE was the first machine stiched lace in the world. Celebrating their first successful exhibit at the Grand Prix World Exhibition in Paris, France in 1900.  Salon Plauener Spitze has since traveled the world over, promoting their lovely linen products made in the tradition, quality and artistic German craftsmanship of the Vogtland region of Germany. The city of Plauen is a quaint German city with many Old World Traditions, located in the former East Germany.
